Know all men by these presents that I Jemima B. Hodges of the county of sumner & State of Tennessee being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind & memory do make this my last will & testament in manner & form as follows to wit I give & bequeath to my five daughters Viz Polly Alderman, Elizabeth Hodges, Sarah N. Hodges Melinda L. Hodges & Jemima Hodges all that tract of land situate lying & being in the county of Sumner near james Black (?) known by the Tatum Tract containing sixty acres more or less to be equally divided among them.
This 11th Day of Nov 1833

The nuncuptive will of Jemima B. Hodges decd was produced in court & duly proved agreeable to law by the oath of Robert Brown & Samuel Cochran the subscribers thereunto & ordained to be recorded.
