Will of William Miller
Dated: February 24, 1859
I give to my wife Eliza one third of my estate during her natural life. It is my wish all my estate be divided among the following children to wit: William, Jacob, John, Christy, Martha, Mary and Alcana Miller, the one third part left to my wife divided after her death, the share going to Martha to be hers and the heirs of her body.  If she should die without heirs, her part to revert to my other children.  I want Alcana to have $10 for a colt he ought to have had, Mary $15 for a cow and calf she ought to have had.  My son William Miller shall pay to all my children named $35 which is the balance due me for a land warrant I let him have.  Having given William Heath and his wife Sarah as much of my land as I intend, I will them no part of my land but will her an equal share in the balance of my estate.
