Mrs. Marie BURYSEK Family

The BURYSEK family ended up in Portland, Sumner County, Tennessee, by chance.

They were immigrating from Czechoslovakia to Parannah, Brazil. They stopped in Portland, Sumner County, Tennessee to visit a friend or relatives. They liked the land and stayed.

MARIE BURYSEK was born 1851 in Czechoslovakia. She died in 1920 in Portland. Marie is buried at the Immanuel Cemetery (Bohemian Cemetery). Her children are:

  1. Adolph BURYSEK was born January 16, 1881. Died September 3, 1962. Adolph married Lillie E. ERTNER. Lillie was born May 6, 1888. She died August 11, 1970. Both are buried at the Immanuel Cemetery (Bohemian Cemetery).

  2. Joseph BURYSEK was born 1887/1888. He died in 1963. Joseph married Christia "Kristy" HRADEK. Kristy was born in 1890. Both are buried at the Immanuel Cemetery (Bohemian Cemetery).

  3. Mary BURYSEK was born July 15, 1882. She died September 22, 1960. Marie married Ignatz WOSTA. Ignatz was born January 26, 1875. He died May 14, 1965. Both are buried at the Immanuel Cemetery (Bohemian Cemetery).
