This Indenture made this 19th day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred six, between Samuel Harris of the State of Tennessee & County of Wilson of the one part and William Bloodworth of the same State & County of Sumner of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Samuel for & in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fourteen dollars & fifty cents to him in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained & sold aliened conveyed in offer & confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain & sell alien convey & conform unto the said William and his heirs forever a certain parcel or tract of land containing fifty three and one hundred poles lying being & situate in the State of Tennessee in Sumner County on the West fork of Station Camp Creek, being part of a preemption originally granted to Charles Campbell and bounded as follows, To wit, Beginning in the middle of said Creek where the south boundary line of said preemption crosses the same and running thence up the middle of said Creek with its several courses and meanders to John B. Johnson Corner near the southwest Corner of said Johnson bottom field thence North eighty degrees East with said Johnson's line sixty three poles SouthEast corner of old bottom field thence North 15 degrees West with said Johnson line 17 poles to a Stake in Henry Bloodworths West boundary line thence South one hundred two poles & two thirds of a pole to the south boundary line of said preemption, thence West with said line to the Beginning To have & to hold the said tract of land with all its appurtances of every kind to him the said William and his heirs forever and I the said Samuel for myself and my heirs forever warrant & defend the said land to said William and his heirs against the claim or claims of all & every person or persons whatsoever In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this day and year first above written. Intestment before signed in the twenty seventh line from the top with the words seventeen poles & in the thirty first line the word West erased.
