Deed for 200 acres of land
This Indenture made this twenty third of March in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and ten Between Samuel Smith of Caldwell County and State of Kentucky of the One part, and Thomas Stark of Sumner County and State of Tennessee of the Other part, Witnesseth that the said Samuel Smith for and in consideration of the sum six hundred Dollars current

money to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Stark the receipt whereof he the said Samuel Smith doth hereby acknowledges hath granted bargained and sold and doth by these presents grant bargain and sell to the said Thomas Stark his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land containing two hundred acres lying in the aforesaid county of Sumner on the waters of Tenney's branch being part of a tract Originally granted to the said Samuel Smith by deed bearing date September the third Eighteen hundred and eight containing four hundred and twenty eight acres and bounded as follows Beginning at Elm and sugar trees Smith Hansborough south east corner thence north forty two poles to white oak and spanish oak thence East thirty six poles to walnut tree in Nilses [Lindsay's] line at the stone quarry thence south one hundred thirty four poles with Lindseys line to a spanish oak and Elm, thence west with Simes line forty four poles to a hickory Simes's corner thence south ninety six poles to an ash in Simes's line thence west one hundred and twelve poles to hackberry and white oak thence north twenty poles to ___ cherry and Elm Smith's corner thence west forty poles to white ash Ramer's corner thence north one hundred and sixty poles to a large hickory in Smith Hansberry's line thence East with same line to the

the Beginning One hundred and fifty four poles together with the appurtenances thereto belonging To have and To hold the said tract of land with all the appurtanances to the said Thomas Stark his heirs and assigns to the sole use of the said Thomas Stark his heirs and assigns and the said Samuel Smith for himself and his heirs the said tract of land with all its appurtenances to the said Thomas Stark and his heirs and assigns against the claim of all persons whomsoever will forever warrant and defend In Testimoney Whereof the said Samuel Smith hath hereunto subscribed his name and affixed his seal the day and Year first above written.
