Know all men by these presents That I Richard Harrison of this County of Sumner and State of Tennessee that for and in consideration of the Sum of fifty dollars to me in hand paid hath this day bargained and sold to Westly Bruce of the County and State arforesaid the one third part of an undevided parcel of land lying in Sumner County. And on the head of Manscer Creek bounded as follows Beginning at a beech my beginning corner of a two hundred acre Survey granted on the 23rd November 1827 running North forty nine poles to a small sugar tree Moores Corner. Then West one hundred and seventy eight poles and eight tenthes to a stake in the Old line thence South forty nine poles to four small White Oaks thence East One hundred and seventy eight and eight tenths poles to the Beginning supposed to be fity six acres be the same more or less the right and title of said Land I warrant and forever defend to the said Bruce and his heirs forever in witness I have set my hand and seal this 26th day of July 1836 Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of us.

And of Bargain and Sale from Richard Harrison to Wesley Bruce for fifty Acres of Land was acknowledged in Open Court by the said Harrison and ordered to be certified for registration.
