I'm looking for anyone who might know the names of descendents of Henry SPHAR, b1751 who lived in Sullivan County in early times. He died in 1821, leaving a 2nd wife named Nancy. They were located in Bristol, Tenn/VA. I've been searching for the parents of my ggggrandfather, James Spaw, b 1822 in Ky. The first I can locate him is in Parke Co., IN in 1850. His death certificate says he was born in Tennessee to father James, but censuses say KY. In 1860 he has living in Bates Co., MO. With him is Jacob Spaw, b. KY, age 80.
I don't know if this is his father or ? Can anyone help?

Her father was Jacob Droke WOLFORD. I have no information on him or his parents. Her mother was Lydia Anne HARR, born Jan. 17, 1836. Her parents were John Simon HARR, 1792-1852, and Lydia HICKS, 1789-1860. John Simon HARR's parents were John HARR, 1761-1838, and Suzanne SNAPP, 1762-1827. Looking for SYMPSON/CLENDENNON families I'm looking for ancestor William SYMPSON (Simpson), who enlisted in 1781 in the militia in Sullivan Co., when it was still NC. He is listed as having served as a substitute for his father, Henry SYMPSON. In 1783 he enlisted again after the border had been changed-- this time as a substitute for John CLENDENNON, who I suspect was the father of Mary CLENDENNON, whom he later married. In 1795 he and his family moved to KY and by 1796 he was settled in Greene Co., KY, where he remained until his death. He was born Oct. 25, 1766 in PA. Any information on him or his or his wife's families would be much appreciated!

ROSENBAUM, Henry M. (Marion, or Michael) b. July 27, 1843 and Nancy Margaret b. April 11, 1861. I've been told they were both born in Tennessee. Perhaps Henry was born in Bristol, Sullivan Co. Nancy may have been born in Washington County. They were both Rosenbaums and also man and wife. I have not been able to find birth records or marriage records. They lived in the Clear Fork District in Tazewell Co. VA in 1900 and he worked in the coal mines in VA and WV. He may also have worked for the railroad. Sometime after 1900 they moved to Missouri. I don't have much more information. Thanks for any help on this. Delta .

I am searching for information about Samuel Reeves Beaver my Great Grand father,Hubert Reeves Beaver my grand father and Roy Franklin Beaver is my Father.I have information on the paternal side of our family,but the maternal side is very vaque.
