LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JOHN GARDNER
In the Name of God Amen

I John Gardner of the State of Tennessee and County of Stewart do make this my Last will &C I give and bequeath unto my Wife Easter the farm on which I now Live during her Lifetime Two beds and furniture Table Furniture &C Also Two Cows and calves 1 horse (Claybank) Also One Negro girl Prian during the Said Easters Lifetime the Said Easter is to have provision for One year after My death I give and bequath unto the Heirs of Walter Boswell heirs Say [by?] my Daughter Susannah Two hundred Dollars I give and bequath unto Selia Lattimer heirs Two hundred Dollars I als give and bequeath unto dicy Grimes Heirs Two hundred Dollars I Also give to Elizabeth Grimes heirs Two hundred Dollars I also give and bequeath unto Nancy Buckinghams heirs Two hundredDollars . I give also to Stephen Gardners heirs fifty dollars. I also give to my son James One Negro boy Named Luke after the above Legaces are paid and all my Just Debts it is my Will and Desire that my Daughter Sal! lys heirs shall have the Ballance it is Expresly understood that after the Death of my wife Easter that all the property that may Exist at that time is to go to my own heirs I appoint my Grand Sons James Wofford and Samuel Wofford Executors to this my Last will and Testament &c Signed &C this 8th day of August in the presence of
