Administration Bond William Cook of Estate H. D. Bird (sic)

Know all men by these presents that we, William Cook, Drury Bird (sic), and John K. Colson (?), all of the State of Tennessee and County of Stewart, are held and firmly bound unto the Governor in and over the State of Misoria (sic) or his successors in office in the Sum of Six hundred Dollars to be paid to the Governor or his successors in office assigned which payment well and truely to be made and bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators jointly and severely (?) firmly (?) by these presents sealed with our Seals and dated this 4th day of December, 1837. The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound William Cook, Administrator of all and Singular the (?) goods and chattles, Rights and credits of Henry D. Bird (sic), Deceased, as marked (?) in Cause to be made a True and Perfect inventory of all and singular, the goods and chattles, rights, and credits of the Deceased, which have or shall come into the hands, knowledge, or possession of said Wm. Cook or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the Said do make an exhibit or cause to be exhibited unto our insuring County Court and the Same Goods, Chattles, Rights, and Credits and all other goods, chattles, rights, and credits of the Said Deceased at the time of his death

which and (?) any time hereafter may come into the hands of any person or persons jero (?) minn (?) and well and truely administer according to Law and Justice (?) as make or cause to be made a true and Just account of Said Administration in Turn (?) and Zea (?) After the date of these minutes (?) and credits which may be found remaining (?) with Said administration account This Same (?) Just (?) examined and allowed ug (?) secable (?) to law Strale (?) oceline (?) and pay (?) unto such person or persons respectively as the Same Shall be made (?) persuant to the True Intent and meaning of this Administration and if it shall appear that any will or testament was (?) made (?) by the deceased and executor or executors thereto named and executed the Service (?) unto Court mainly (?) the allowed (?) and provided (?) of accordingly if the (?) service Wm. Cook thereunto be (?) requested as removed (?) and allowed (?) Said Letters of Administration, Approbation of Such Testament king (?) fist (?) had and made in and (?) Said Court Term this Obligation to be void or else to remain in full force and Law.
