1880 Stewart County Mortality Schedules

The 1880 Federal Mortality Schedules enumerated persons who died in the 12 months preceding the 1880 Federal Census (June 1, 1879 to May 31, 1880). Below are listed, by Enumeration District, the persons enumerated in the 1880 Mortality Schedules for Stewart County. These persons were not enumerated in the 1880 Population Schedule.

A "Remarks" section appeared at the bottom of each page of the Mortality Schedule, in which the Enumerator listed persons who died outside of their Enumeration District, but who would have been enumerated in that district had they lived. This information is listed in Notes at the bottom of each page.

The "Family #" column below lists the Family Number in the 1880 Population Schedule in which the death was reported. "PR" in that column denotes information provided by a Physician's Return.
