Last Will and Testament of John
Ligon ...Smith County, Tennessee
April 15th 1839

In the name of God amen, I John
Ligon of Smith County Tennessee, do hereby declare my wish, which
is that my Daughter Susannah Farmer
and her three youngest children Polly, Lettitia, and Absolum
Farmer possess my little property
after the death of myself and wife, and that Absolum have my young
horse as part of his portion.
