Sarah A. Scroggins Chambers 1859

*** Sarah's maiden name is unknown to me, her first husband was George Scroggins, after his decease, Sarah married Richard Chambers, after the death of Richard, Sarah married Seth Phillips. Sarah and Mr. Phillips were divorced and Sarah legally retook the Chambers surname.

I make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other by me made at any time.

First, I wish my negroe boy Bill to be equally divided between my three children, James W., George W, and Samuel Scroggins.

I also will that my house and lot at Rome be equally divided between my three children.

I give to each of my children, one bed, bedstead, and furniture.

I give to my son George 1 chest.

I will my bible and what money I have on hand to my son Samuel Scroggins.  This the 6th February 1859
