Stonewall Bridge
The Stonewall Bridge was located on Trousdale Ferry Pike between Gordonsville and Stonewall,
crossing the Caney Fork River. This one lane wooden floor bridge was completed in April, 1900
and was a toll bridge until 1929. An unusual feature was the 90 degree curve in the bridge near
the southern approach. This feature was acclaimed in "Ripley's Believe It Or Not". It was replaced
by a new concrete bridge a short distance away several years ago. A postcard of this bridge can be
