He was the son of Jesse "Babe" Law and Sarah Elizabeth (Kittrell) Law of Defeated Creek, Tn.
She was the daughter of Dr. James A. Durham and Francis Elizabeth (Perkins) Durham of Stonewall, Tn.
They were married 30 Dec 1894 in Carthage and the spring of 1895, they
traveled to Ft. Worth, Texas in a covered wagon. It took them three months. They are my
Grandparents on my maternal side. She is four months pregnant with my Mother.
