Belle Holleman in Goat Cart
My cousin, Norman Holleman, identified the baby in this photo as being his sister,
Belle Holleman, daughter of Mack Henry and Lillie McCall Holleman.

Belle was my father's first cousin, their mother's, Lillie and Nell, being sisters.
Belle married Philip Creasy of Springfield, Tennessee and to this union was born
a daughter, Barbara. I have many fond memories of visiting Uncle Mack and Aunt Lillie
on week-ends when their large family would be visiting, and us children would be put
at card tables to eat separate from the grown ups, who ate from a banquet size table,
ensuring their lively conversations would not be disturbed. We children thoroughly
enjoyed the atmosphere of laughter, talk, delicious food, and the anticipation of
going out-side to play afterwards. Photo ca. 1920
