Benjamin Franklin and Laura Alice Cutrell Fiveash Family
Sometime after 1900, the parents in the above photo and the next, Benjamin Franklin Fiveash (1852-1930)and
his wife Laura Alice Cutrell (1862-1952), migrated to La Junta, Colorado with their family. Their child,
Lizzie Fiveash, (1886-1891) had died in Smith Co. TN. Laura Alice kept a photo of Lizzie hanging on the
bedroom wall in Colorado as long as she lived. It appears the Silas Cuttrell family, who were kin and
neighbors in the Hiwassee area of Smith Co., had migrated there several years before.
