Rev. Horace Greely Agee
Horace Greely Agee was the son of Jesse W. Agee and the grandson of Ephriam Agee. He was born
30 Dec. 1858 and died 13 Apr. 1917. He was first married to Lucy James and there were five
children born to this union. Mettie Agee Parker, Miles West Agee, Silas Agee, Lester Agee
and Sim Agee all are deceased. Lucy James died in 1912 and H.G. Agee married Buelah Marion
Blackburn in 1914. To this union was born one child Osmond Bridges Agee b. 16 Feb. 1916 d.
11 Nov.1975. This picture provided by Gerald Agee the son of Osmond Agee.
Rev. H.G. Agee was the minister of Hickman Primitive Baptist Church for many years.

He is buried next to his first wife Lucy James Agee in the Agee Cemetery near
the junction of Pigg Branch and Sykes Road.
