The Old Mt. Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery
The Old Mt. Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery is located at #111 Kenny Bend Road near the Lost Creek
Road intersection north of Rock City community. The Mt. Olivet Church was organized prior to 1841 on
Flippen land. In 1928 the church building was moved to Rock City. This fairly large cemetery appears to have
many more unmarked graves than marked ones. The ground cover Periwinkle offers some protection but
this cemetery does not seem to have had any maintance in many many years.
