Mr. Austin states there are two children of Edgar McDonald buried here
that many years ago had a wood fence around them. He also stated that
about 50 years ago a lady was shipped from Califorina and buried here.
Her grave was not marked and no one has ever came to visit her grave.

Listed in Smith County Cemeteries - South of the Cumberland River on Page
233. There is a interesting history and photos of this family in the Smith
County History on Page 607.

After discovering the previously unknown burial place for their grandmother/greatgrandmother (Ida Apple) in
these cemetery photos, relatives from Texas and New Mexico came to this cemetery and placed a new stone.
The old stone was broken in three pieces which caused it to be transcribed wrong in the cemetery book.
See next photo.

We put this broken stone together for a photograph.
