Lawrence Cemetery
The Lawrence Cemetery is located on the hill behind the house at 302 Holmes Gap Road. It is
about 150 yards south of the old Lawrence home, which is now used as a barn. There are two
small areas about 30 feet apart enclosed by iron fences, which are Beckwith and Barry burials.
Surrounding the fenced enclosures are other burials which are marked by tombstones or fieldstones.
