• I finished plowing the pice below the garden on May 11-1929.

• Sowed uper end of barn pice on June 1st 1929 to soy beans.

• Sowed soy beans up at the sweet potato patch on the 10 of June 1929.

• Plowed the corn out first time on June 11, 1929.

• Sow soy beans by hog pice on June 17, 1930.

• Plant Irsh Potato patch to soy beans on June 17, 1930.

• Work for Jolly Davidson on building porch; June 24, 1929 5 hours

• June 25, 1929 3 Trus to Cal Stephens I guess they are worth $3.00 paid in molasses. 1930.

• Tenn Lumber & Coal & Co.  cutt 7 trees 3 white pine 4 black pine, cutt thru on June 22, 1929 for a bill.

• On Sep 8 1932 had a fire at Wescotts old place; 4 or 5 houses burned down and Sherman Davis' baby burned up a boy, a little over a year old.  Dady Foster's house burned, and Chitwoods, and Charley Douglas, and Lewallen; I don't know all of their names.

• Plainted the corn in old barn place on May 3, 1930.

• Sowed soy beans at barn May 24, 1930.  Sowed soy beans by clausit May 27, 1930.

• Sowed soy beans by Walter Douglas May 29, 1930. Is still cool and was a frost May 31, 1930.  They may come up and they may not.

• I plowed up hog lot June 10th, 1930.

• Sowed hog lot to soy beans June 17, 1930.

• Plainted soy beans in Potato Patch on June 17, 1930.

• I paid Isaac Reed on 803 feet of lumber to build a hog house in 1929 on Jan 18 my check. $5.00 check.

• Levi plowed Mar 31. Plowed pice around barn and finished at back of house and plowed pice by clauset Mar 31 7 hours, April 1st 4 hours. Plow 6 hours in the pice by Walter April 30. Plow 1 1.5 hours in the pice by Walters May 1st. Finished the peace in 7 1/2 hours.

• I have bin workin for C. C. Reed helpin grub som 6 or 8 days ice March 1931. About 6 or 7 hours a day I guess & a bout 6 days.  On April 8 help burn brush, 6 hrs. April 9 help burn brush, 4 hrs.

• April 29, fix double tree & sharpen plow, 2 hrs.

• I floored Jake Smith house on Oct 29. Worked about 4 1/2 hours. On Oct 30. worked about 6 hours. This 1929. I ant goin to charge him for this job on the acct him a helpin me drill 2 half days at Helenwood.

• Whitten Marcum killed by Henry Smith Hawk Henry on April the 30th 1933 at Church at Hazel Valley. Henry Smith killed by Whitten Marcum on April 30, 1933. Killed one an other both died sudden.

• 1935. Plaint pice of corn behind barn half of at April 29 and last half April 30, 1935 after noon 4/30/.
