James Wilson to Elijah Arnold 8 Feb'y 1860.
         I James Wilson have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and Convey to Elijah Arnold and his heirs forever for the consideration of Forty dollars to me paid, a tract of land in the State of Tennessee Robertson County and District No. 1 Containing by estimation ten acres and 64 poles, be it the same more or less, and bounded as follows, Beginning at a hickory bush and pointers thence west 13 poles to a stake & pointers, thence North One hundred and Twenty Eight (28) poles to a post oak, thence East thirteen poles to a stake, thence South one hundred and Twenty Eight poles to the Beginning. Containing ten acres and 64 poles. To have to hold the same to the said Elijah Arnold his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant with the said Elijah Arnold that I am lawfully seized of said land & have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered, I do further covenant and bind myself my heirs & Representatives to Warrant & forever defend the title to the said land & every part thereof to the said Elijah Arnold his heirs & assigns against the lawful claim of all persons whatever, this 27th day of Feb'y 1851.          Personally appeared before me R. H. Murphey Clerk of the County Court of said County Calvin Wilson & Benton Wilson on 4 Feb'y 1860. Witnesses to the forgoing deed & do on their oaths say they are personally acquainted with James Wilson bargainer to said deed & that he acknowledged in their presence the execution of said deed, to be his act and deed for the purposes set forth therein, on or about the day it bears date. Given under my hand at office this 4th Feb'y 1860.
