         This Indenture made the 6th of February in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixteen between Thomas Bird of the county and state of Tennessee of the one part and Benjamin Gaines of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Bird for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand paid before the ensealing and delivering of these presents the _____ whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained and sold and doth hereby give grant bargain sell make over convey and confirm unto the said Benjamin Gains one certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in Robertson County in the State of Tennessee containing one hundred acres be the same more of less and is bounded as follows (To wit) Beginning at a Bose White oak running South with Crop pine and East so as to include one hundred acres now only agreeable to the conditional line made by said Thomas Bird Jr from Thomas Bird Sen to have and to hold the said tract of land ____ by consideration one hundred acres of land with all its appurtenances and every previlidge and conveianzes belonging to the use and ____ of the said Benjamin Gains his heirs and assigns forever to have and to hold the aforesaid Granted and bargained premises with all and singular the right benefit and priveledges thereunto belonging to the said Benjamin Gains his heirs and assigns proven? Hereby warranting and defend the said land from the just claim of all manor of persons whatever.
