         I Edward Stone have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to F.R. Durrett and his heirs forever for the consideration of Six hundred Dollars to me paid a tract of Land in the State of Tennessee Robertson County and District No.10, Containing by Estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows, Beginning on a hickory in F.R. Durrett line on the S side of Beaver Dam Creek running W 58 3/5 Rods with D.L. Durrett’s line to a rock, thence E with D.L. Durrett’s line 26 Rods to a Rock, Thence N 154 rods to a rock, thence E 72 Rods to a stake, Thos. Starks corner, Thence S 121 ½ rods to a Rock Thos Starks corner, Thence E 16 ½ rods to a Rock, thence S 120 rods to a rock on Beaver Dam Creek, Thence west with the meanderings of the Creek 88 rods to the beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said F.R. Durrett his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant and bind myself, my heirs and Representatives to warrant and defend the Title to the said Land and every part hereof to the said F.R. Durrett his heirs and assigns against the lawful & claims of all persons whatever.

         Personally appeared before me R.H. Murphey Clerk of the County Court of said County W.A. Shannon and Wiley Owens subscribing witnesses to the attached Deed who being first duly sworn depose and say that they are personally acquainted with the within named Edward Stone the bargainer and that he acknowledged the same in their presence to be his act and deed for the purposes therein contained.
