         This indenture made this eighteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and seven between William McADOOE of Indian territory & County of Knox of the one part and Samuel McALILY of the State of Tennessee & County of Robertson of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration fo the sum of one thousand dollars to him in hand paid the receipt and payment is hereby acknowledged have bargained, sold and confirmed by these presents do bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said McALILY his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of or parcel of land situate lying & being in the State of Tennessee & County of Robertson on the South fork of Red River butted and bounded as follow, (to wit) Beginning about sixty poles below a Rocky Spring in the river bank at a spanish oak on the river thence East one hundred and sixty nine poles to a black oak South to the river thence down the meander of said river to the OLER patent line a stake in river thence with patent line West to a stake thence North two hundred & ten poles to a stake then East forty poles to the beginning estimated to contain two hundred acres be the same more or less being part of a tract of land containing two hundred and seventy four acres grant to the said William McADOOE by the State of North Carolina grant bearing date the eleventh day of July one thousand seven hundred and eighty eighty and No. 701 which two hundred acres be the same more or less I the said William McADOOE doth grant unto the said Samuel McALILY his heirs and assigns with all the appur-

tenances thereunto belonging and rents issues and profits arising therefrom unto the said Samuel McALILY his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns To have and to hold the only proper use and behoof of him the said Saml McALILY his heirs and assigns forever and the said William McADOOE for himself and his heirs, executors and administrators and assigns do hereby covenant, promise and agree that he will at all times hereafter warrant and forever defend the title of said land unto the said Samuel McALILY his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands of any person or persons whatsoever whereby the above mentioned premises may be affected an incumbrance contrary to the true intent and meaning of these presents in Witness whereof the said William McADOOE hereunto set my hand and seal this day and date first above written Signed, sealed & delivered
