         This Indenture made this 20th day of March One thousand eight hundred & five, between John Trice of the County of Sumner and State of Tennessee of the one part and Elijah Eubanks of the County & State aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth that for and in consideration sum of one thousand twelve dollars and fifty cents to him in hand paid, by the said Elijah Eubanks, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained sold conveyed and confirmed & by these presents do grant bargain sell convey & confirm unto the said Elijah Eubanks his heirs and assigns forever, a certain tract or parcel of land, ______ lying and being in the County of Robertson in the _____ of red river containing four hundred and fifty acres more or less. Beginning at a poplar & elm, running Eat two hundred & eighty eight poles to two black ash, thence South one hundred and ninety nine poles to a stake thence west two hundred and twenty four poles to a post oak in the Barreu, thence South two hundred and thirty four poles to a stake, thence west sixty four poles to a stake, thence North to the beginning. To have and to hold the above bargained and described premises with all and singulars?

_________ To the same belonging ________ with him the said Elijah Eubanks his heirs & assigns forever and the said John Trice do for themselves their heirs & __ do covenant & agree to and with the said Elijah Eubank his heirs & __ that they will warrant and forever defend the above meted premises against all manner of persons lawfully claiming the same. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this 20th day of March 1805.
