         For the love and affection I entertain for my Grandson Asa Harper Jr., I do hereby give transfer and convey to him a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Robertson County Tennessee District No. 9 containing by estimation six acres and twelve poles and bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning at a stake in Asa Harper line, thence running West 13 ˝ poles to a stake, thence North 72 poles to a stake in Maullons line, thence East 13 ˝ poles to Asa Harpers North West corner at his fifteen acre tract, thence South with said Harpers West boundary 72 poles, to the Beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said Asa Harper Jur. His heirs and assigns forever, I covenant and agree for myself and heir to warrant and forever defend the title to the said tract or parcel of land to the said Asa Harper Jr. his heirs and assigns against the lawful claim of all persons whatsoever this 24th day of April 1854.          Personally appeared before me Robt H. Murphey clk of the County Court for said County L.T. Mantle and S. T. Mantle the witnesses to this deed, who on their oathes say that they are acquainted with William Huddleston the bargainor, & that he acknowledged the same in their presence to be his act and deed for the purposes within contained on the day it bears date.
