Decree Court to Thos. Meguire 5 Jany 1849.
Expartee the petition of Moses Byram admr & etc to sell land, Be it remembered that this day this cause came to be heard, upon the report of the clerk, Which report is in the words and fashion following to wit: Pursuant to a decree of the Circuit Court of Robertson County at October Term 1845, after complying with said decree in all its requisition, I sold on the 8th day of December 1845 the following tract of land, being a part of the tract of land belonging to the estate of Daniel Arnold Dec'd, bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning on a hickory NW corner to a tract of land belonging to Daniel Arnold's heirs and also corner to Rich'd Baird, thence East 943 poles to a rock, thence South 1 degree West 153 poles to the center of Simmons Branch to a rock, thence South 76 degree West 10 poles to an elm in the branch, thence North 1 degree East 154 poles to the beginning, Containing 9 acres, which 9 acres was laid off by Thomas Meguire at the sum of $63.64 cash, which same was according to said decree distributed in the following, to wit: paid Moses Byram admin'r of Daniel Arnold Dec'd , to pay the debts of his intestate and for which I took his receipt $53.90 paid Attorney fee of $5.00, paid surveyor laying off land $1.00, paid taxes due on land $1.30, clerks fee for selling at 4 percent $2.44, in all the sum of $63.64 all of which are respectfully submitted.

Which report being understood, It was ordered and adjudged & decreed by the Court, that said report being in all things confirmed and that title to said land in the report mentioned, be diverted out of the heirs of the said Dan'l Arnold dec'd and vested in the purchaser Thomas Mequire his heirs, assigns forever.
