William K. Arnold from Rich'd Arnold 19th Sept 1827.
         To all people whom these presents should come I Richard Arnold do send Greeting, Know ye that I the said Richard Arnold of the County of Bedford and State of Tennessee for and in consideration of the love, good will and affection which I have and do bear toward my loving son William K. Arnold of the State aforesaid and County of Robertson, have given & Granted and do by these presents do firmly give and Grant unto the said William K. Arnold his heirs, Exors' or Administrators a negro Boy by the name of Jim of which before the signing of these presents, I have delivered him to the said William K. Arnold, to have and to hold the said Boy by the name of Jim his heirs, Executors or Administrators form henceforth as his and their lawful property absolutely without any matter of Condition. In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seat the twenty third day of March one thousand eight hundred & twenty two.
