In the name of God Amen,
         The 8th day of January AD 1800. I Noah Sugg being in a low state of health but perfect mind & memory & sense do make & now ordain this to be my last Will & Testament.
         Item. After my just debts are paid I leave my land and plantation on White's Creek where I moved from last . Together with my out lands to be sold. & if there is more than will pay off my just debts, it shall be equally divided amongst my four sons Viz: Aquilla Sugg, Lemuel Sugg, Josiah Sugg & William Sugg.
         Item. I also give to my son Lemuel Sugg two hundred acres of land whereon he now lives.
         Item. I also give to my son Josiah Sugg two hundred acres of land where he now lives.
         Item. I also give to my son William Sugg the land & plantation where I now live, only reserve fifty acres for Fanny Jenkins which will be made mention of at the last.
         Item. I give to my youngest daughter Patsey, my Negro girl named Hellen, my Negro boy named John together with one feather Bed and Furniture & one horse colt.
         Item. Give all the others of my Negros, Viz: Dick, Jim, Fortune, Ceasar, Alford, Nelly, Henry & Frank to my four sons Aquilla Sugg, Lemuel Sugg, Josiah Sugg & William Sugg, to equally divided amongst them also all my out standing debts, either of (Book) note or Book accts. together with all my movable property except my household furniture & stock of cattle, hogs. My daughter Patsey to have an equal part of them three articles with her four brothers equal.
         Item. I leave to my eldest daughter Elizabeth Hooper five shillings Sterling to be paid out my estate & paid by my executors.
         Item. I give to my daughter Nancy (Hart) five shillings Sterling to be paid by my executors.
         Item. Give my daughter Sally Gorum five shillings Sterling to be paid by my executors.
         Item. I leave to Fanny Jenkins fifty acres of land to be laid off to her out of the tract I now live on so as to include ten acres of cleared ground on the side next to Harpeth River, also my black horse & four cows & calves.
         I do ordain and appoint my eldest son Aquilla Sugg of this my last Will & Testament, signed, sealed & etc. in the presence of us.
