April 16, 1808.
To which at October term 1807 the Plaintiff appeared by Thos. Stuarts, Esq. his attorney likewise the Defendant by Thos. SwannEsq. his attorney and pleads " Not guilty of (Intefecations)" thereupon the parties joined (session), after which the causes & proceedings so had thereon was continued to each succeeding term until April Term 1808 at which time came here into court as were the Plaintiff and Defendant by their attorneys aforesaid, and thereupon came a jury of good & lawful men to wit; Robert Perry, Burrell Pitts, John Yates, Benj. Ethel__, Elias Ford, John Huddleston, Thomas George, Nimrod Browning, Joseph Pitts, Henry Fiser, John Huey & Matthew Day, who being duly elected, typed, and sworn well & truly to try the (____ ____) between the parties aforesaid. say they find for the Plaintiff and assess his damages to one hundred & fifty dollars so as assessed to his as aforesaid also his costs of such in that behalf expended & etc. the defense in thereof & etc.----
