In this cause I have caused to come before me E.F. Mulloy Esq & P. Payne Gentlemen of intelligence & credibility whose Affidavit I have taken and filed in the Cause who state they are well acquainted with the Land in the Petition mentioned. That they will be about 100 acres & 8 Shares therein that a Division thereof would detract from the value of each share, and that a Sale thereof would manifestly be to the advantage of all the Petitioners, particularly the Minors. Also that $7.00 per acre would be a proper minimum at which to offer the holdings therefor I therefore Report that a Sale of said Land would be manifestly to the advantage of the Minor Petitioners & that $7 per acre would be a proper minimum at which to open the biddings therefor.
Respectfully submitted December 9th 1857.
Miles S. Draughan C & M
