291-292. Mrs. MARY HICKS HOUSTON, August 26, 1932-January 27, 1933
Resident of Pinson, Tennessee
Money to be set aside for upkeep of "the cemetery." To grandchildren Mrs. A. Lacy Price (Vesta Mays Price) and Max H. Mays ½ interest in her house and lot in Pinson and other interest in same to son Albert D.  Houston; half of furnishings to this son and half to the grandchildren.  A. Lacy Price, executor without making bond as such. Witnesses: V. I. Kille­brew, Mrs. Vance Killebrew.
Codicil dated August 26, 1932. Since she had deeded the property devised to her son and grandchildren in March 1931 she devised part of the farm in Civil District 1, Madison County to Mrs. Vesta Mays Price and Max H. Mays and children Albert G. Houston and Lurline Houston. Witnesses: V. I. Killebrew, Mrs. Vance Killebrew.
Mrs. Mary Hicks Houston died January 19, 1933.

293-294. Mrs. LOUISA GILLMAN, August 25, 1923-February 9, 1933
Resident of Madison County, Tennessee
$1 each to children, Louis Gillman, Matilda Norfleet, Gus Gillman, John Gillman, Lonnie McLeary, Henry Gillman. Homeplace on Medina Road to sons, Pate and Herman Gillman. Devised further land to these two sons if they gave $500 to son Charlie Gillman and $1000 to daughter, Minnie Catherine Williams. W. A. Caldwell, executor without making bond as such.  Witnesses:  W. D. McKinnie, H. W. Hicks.
Codicil dated August l3, 1925. Pate and Henry Gillman now appointed execu­tors without making bond as such. Witnesses: J. T. Rothrock, F. H. Phillips.

Ella Cole died February 11, 1933.

297. Mrs. T. D. WINDROM, April 26, 1922-February 17, 1933 _
To grandchildren Gladys Marjorie Windrom and Torn A. Windrom, children of her son Torn D. Windrom each $250. Son, Guy Windrom her black onyx locket, ½ dozen silver knives, etc. To daughter-in-law, Gladys wife of Torn D. Windrom her gold watch, etc. Rest of estate to Torn D. and Guy Windrom, sons, equally and they to serve as executors without making bond as such.  Witnesses: R. H. bond, Bessie Buffaloe.

Daughter Edna Mayo Thomas to be co-execu­tor with son, Neely T. Mayo, who had borrowed money from her to apply on his farm and he is to be charged only 4% interest on this debt.  Witnesses: G. C. John T. Mayo died February 23, 1933.

Resident of Madison County., Tennessee; widow of John C. Hawley
$100 left for upkeep of lot in Hollywood Cemetery. Estate divided: l/3 interest each to Mildred B. Wallace, Vivian Whitelaw, Jennie Hawley Whitelaw. To R. H. Whitelaw the acre lot directly south of her house.  Jennie Hawley Whitelaw, executrix without making bond as such. Witnesses:  Mrs. L. E. Hawley, L. C. Gasser, Mrs. R. G. Cole.

Lindsey St., Jacksonito Thomas P. Dudley, Sr., Chicago, $l000; to Rebecca Allen Porter, Nashville, "my dear cousin," $1000; to Riverside Cemetery Association $1000 "for upkeep of our family vault"; to St. Mary's Catholic School her residential lot, 323 Johnson St., Jackson; to Armstrong Horne, "my cousin," $500; to McDonald K. Horne, Sr., Winona, Miss., "my cousin, "$l000 to Sallie Dudley Wagers all the Dudley family portraits, etc.; to Rebecca Porter, miniature of Isabel Allison Raine and miniature of great-grandfather /Robert Allen?/, numerous pieces of china, silverware, jewelry to friends and relatives. "In case of my mother's death before mine $8000 from her estate that comes to me is to go as a memorial to her at Peabody College for a Confederate Dormi­tory, her name on plate in room - Belle K. Allison. The UDC's Confederate Dormitory."
Rebecca Allison Dudley died February 21, 1933.
Note: According to her UDC application paper, Rebecca A. Dudley was born December 29, 1872. Her mother survived until January 30, 1934 when in her last will she devised the residential lots as designated by her daughter and she may have made distribution of the personalty as well. This family lived in Jackson until 1897 when they moved to Winona, Miss. but Mrs. Dudley returned to Jackson later and died there.

To beloved wife, Emma McKinley, for life, income from 50 shares of stock in Bear and O'Mally Valve co., Chicago and then to be divided among her children, James T. McKinley, Mrs. Mary Allen, Mrs. Loraine Houston.  Wife, executrix without making bond as such. Witnesses: W. N. Key, C. E.  Pigford.
Robert W. McKinley died February 27, 1933.

308. R. G. COLE, spoken will, October 8, 1932-April 4, 1933
Cole was ill in his residence in Jackson, Tennessee and in the presence of Patsy Gibbs and R. H. Whitelaw, he told them that it was his will that his wife would have benefit from his estate and at her demise it would go to "one of the Cole heirs." Sworn, April 4, 1933.
Randolph G. Cole died April 4, 1933.

Resident of Madison County, Tennessee
To beloved wife, Fannie Laney, entire estate and at her demise it went to daughters, Mary Louella Gordon and Johnnie Alma Turner. Wife, executrix without making bond as such. Witnesses: Frank A. Mercer, R. A. Pennington.  John Alexander Laney died April 1, 1933 (DC).  

310-311. T. P. HARALSON, January 21, 1930-April 8, 1933
Resident of Madison County, Tennessee
To son Lawrence C. Haralson and T. P. Haralson, Jr., Suella Haralson, Helen Haralson, Lawrence Andrew Haralson, Astrid Haralson, children of son, Dr. T. P. Haralson, Jr., deceased all his estate including homeplace on Cumber­land St., Jackson and various other lots in that town. To Rachel Chapman residential lot, 517 No. Church St., Jackson, provided she pay $5 a month for education of Lawrence C. Haralson who was appointed executor without making bond as such. Witnesses: L. N. Neely, Frank L. Johnson.

To beloved wife, Decia Nowell his entire estate for life and later to his children, Mrs.  Maude Walker, Mrs. Lena Cunningham and Jim Nowell, equally but the son's share was to be free of claim of his former wife or present wife. Rev. W. A. Baker, son-in-law, executor. Witnesses: C. M. Green, T. W. Pope.

To Etta McBroom $5; to Mep Cline $50; to Frank Jared, Neta Burk, Albert Jared, Fee Jared each $400; rent of his farm for support of his wife, Alice, for life. Fee Jared, executor without making bond as such. Witnesses: T. H. Bell, L. L. Pearcy.

314. Mrs. ANNIE A. PERRY, April 25, 1933-June 3, 1933
Resident of Madison County, Tennessee
Her desk to granddaughter Annie May Timberlake; her what-not to grandson Allen Nelson; her marble-top table to daughter Munsey Nelson Timberlake; her sewing machine to sister Mrs. W. P. Imon of Pine Bluff, Ark.: her onyx brooch to sister Mrs. W. P. Imon to be kept by her for testator's grand­daughter Margaret Clack.  She and husband, Joe Perry, had given farming imple­ments to grandson Will Clack, Jr. and other personalty. To daughter Mamie Lake Clack rest of personalty. Her land had already been apportioned among her children. Daughter Maime Lake Clack executrix without making bond as such. Witnesses: H. B. Crawford, W. A. "x" Crawford, H. G. Arnold.

315-317. A. B. DANCY, May _, 1928-June 19, 1933
To wife Mary Happel Dancy entire estate, including insurance policies excepting in the latter what had been bequeathed to others. To daughter Mary Happel Dancy his $3000 insurance policy with Aetna Life Ins. Co., to be used for her education or if he survived to provide her with the means for an education; she was to have this bequest at age 21 years. His aunt Mrs. E. J. Gilmore had devised the lot and bank building at corner of Main and Liberty streets, Jackson, to him and he devised it to his son, Alexander Brown Dancy on reaching the age of 25 years and it to be mana­ged for him until then by officers of the Second National Bank of Jackson. On Sept. 19, 1924 his mother, Mrs. S. T. Dancy, had deed to him and his brother, Clifton Dancy, jointly, and he devised the following: Mary Happel Dancy and A. B. Dancy, his portions of ten pieces of real estate in Jackson and a 325 acre farm, a 212 acre farm and a 57 acre farm, all in Civil District 5, Madison County. He also left these children his 21 shares in capital stock of Bank of Oklena, Miss and 66 stock shares in First National Bank of Jackson. Wife to serve as trustee with officers of Second National Bank of Jackson, of this property for his children. At age 23 years his daughter may request division of this real property and the portion for his son to be given to him at age 24 years. He mentioned he had other properties for the benefit of his wife, not designated however for her in this will. She was to serve as executrix without making bond as such. Witnesses: J. R. Thompson, Jr., G. N. Berryhill.
Dr. Alexander B. Dancy died June 10, 1933 (DC).

318. Mrs. V. E. KEITH, September 2, 1926-June 20, 1933
Resident of Madison County, Tennessee; widow of John Y. Keith
To daughter Mrs. Grace Keith Wells an undivided 2/5 interest in residen­tial lot, 168 Hart St., Jackson; remaining 3/5 undivided interest in same to children J. D. Keith, Wallace Keith, Will Keith, Mrs. Letta Keith Short, equally. Personalty and money advancements she had made to several of her children and the latter to be charged against them in settlement.  Oldest son, John Y. Keith, executor without making bond as such. Witnesses: H. G. Arnold, Frank Baier.

To step-daughter Frances Brown his homeplace except for 50 foot lot on south side of this place which he had deeded to his granddaughter Emily Brown. To nephew, David Holland $l0. Rest of estate to wife, Emily Underwood.  No executor named. Witnesses: Frank H. Rodgers, G. F. Porter.
David Underwood died June 11, 1933.

320. WILLIAM E. DOLLAHITE, June 23, 1925-August 19, 1933
Resident of Whipple, Yavapal County, Arizona
To wife, Elizabeth Stemm Dollahite entire estate, including property in Prescott, Arizona; an exception to same, $l000 to be placed in First National Bank, Jackson, for his daughter, Virginia Doris Dollahite until she reached the age of 18 years and 6 months and then to be hers. Wife to serve as executrix without making bond as such. Witnesses: Martha Roark Malone, Stanley Morton Botkins, Lisby C. Pinkston.

321. EMMA P. MUNFORD, July 19, 1926-August 21, 1933
Resident of Jackson, Tennessee
To Ula Person and Billie Person daughters of her deceased brother, Walter Person, she gave each $100 in U. S. bonds, to be theirs at age 21 years. Her

sister Elizabeth Person to serve as trustee of these bonds until the girls reached age 21 years. To brother Ben Person $3000. To Mrs. Sally M. Coles, Chatham, Virginia, income-interest on $5000 U. S. bonds and at her demise these bonds were to go to sister, Elizabeth Person and Elenora Person and these two sisters were to have rest of estate. Elizabeth Per­son, executrix without making bond as such. Witnesses: Donald Weaver, C. E.  Pigford.
Emma P. Munford died August 7, 1933.

Entire estate to beloved sister Hattie Fenley and she to serve as execu­trix without making bond as such. Witnesses: D. L. Polk, N. Clifton, Dr. Joseph Jones.

324. Mrs. S. T. DANCY, September 1, 1920-September 26, 1933
To son, Dr. A. B. Dancy ½ of her entire estate and the remaining ½ interest to her son, Clifton Dancy, to be held in trust for him for life and at his demise his portion to Dr. Dancy. T. I. Taylor and Dr.  A. B. Dancy, executors without making bond as such. Witnesses: Lena Lacy Murdoch, H. C. Pearson.
Mrs. Sarah T. Dancy died September 19, 1933 (DC).

325. Mrs. J. G. WILLIAMSON, November 7, 1930-0ctober 4, 1933
$1000 to Mrs. M. Graves and $1300.25 to sisters, Mrs.  Fowler and Weatherly; niece Mrs. A. B. Banham and her niece's brother Charlie Harris to each have $250 and to each of her brother's children $l00. Little John to have his grandfather's watch and Mary Lea Dungesto to have $l00; a table to May Smith; rest of real estate to her three sisters. Gaither Smith to "administor" estate without making bond as such.  Songs at her funeral included "Old Rugged Cross" and "Face to Face." Witnesses: Mrs. S. Scales, Sylvester Scales, G. H. Smith.
Mrs. Betty Carter (J. G.)Williamson died September 29, 1933.

326-327. E. R. HALEY, October 14, 1923-0ctober 9, 1933
"I commend my spirit to my merciful Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier…"
To beloved wife, Annie Haley all real estate for life, about 40 acres on which they lived in Civil District 18, Madison County; if she sold that property, what she acquired afterwards with proceeds at her death should be divided among "my other heirs." She to have his personalty as well.  He explicitly directed that his daughter Mabel's portion was not to be given her in the life-time of her husband, Charlie Dickey and if the husband survived Mabel her portion would go to testator's other heirs. Wife Annie Haley executrix without making bond as such. Witnesses: G. C.  Wilkerson, Simpson Russell.

Any money "left" to Frank L. Johnson, George Williams and daughter Emma Smith. To son, George Williams his residential lot, 827 E. College St., Jackson and at his demise devised to George's daughter Harriat. To daughter Emma Mae Smith residential lot, 825 E. College St., Jackson
and at her demise devised to Joe Barton Williams. Personalty to son George, daughter Emma Mae and Mrs. Irma Johnson. Frank L. Johnson, executor without making bond as such. Witnesses: W. R. Milam, W. L. Stewart.  W. B. Williams died October 17, 1933.

Resident of Jackson, Tennessee
To grandchildren Carrie Edna, Len Thomas and Franklin Kellar Spragins $l000, each to have 1/3 of same at age 25 years. To beloved husband, T. J.  Spragins all personalty except what had been given to her as presents from her children which she wanted returned to them. To daughter Lela Spragins Gauldin and grandson Robert H. Spragins rest of her estate in trust, deriving benefit from it and at husband's demise, division of same: Lela Spragins Gauldin 1/4 share; grandchildren Harvy and Mary Edna Upchurch each 1/8 share; grandsons Hearn, Lamar and Wendell Spragins each 1/12 share; grandchildren Len Thomas, Carrie Edna and Franklin Kellar Spragins each 1/12 share. The grandchildren to have their shares at reaching age 25 years. If any heirs died their shares were to be divided among the surviving heirs. Lela Spragins Gauldin and Robert H. Mrs. Mary S. Spragins died in Dyer Co., Tenn. September 30, 1933.

Marguerite Hicks Lifsey died in Wyoming (date not determined).

342. JOE I. HAYS, January 25, 1932-January 17, 1934
Resident of Madison County, Tennessee
To beloved wife, Anna E. Hays entire estate except $5000 to sister, Mar­guerite Hays at installments of $500 a year and part of his "salary" to his wife and other ½  to children of beloved deceased brother, Mary Ellen Hays, Samuel B. Hays. Lewis Claude Gasser to "wind up" business of Hays Construction Co. and proceeds of same to persons holding stock in same and he to serve as executor. Witnesses: L. C. Gasser, Johnston E. Luton, Jr.
Joe I. Hays died in Mississippi "lately" (as of Jan. 17, 1934).

343-344. Mrs. HARRIET HOLLAND, June 21, 1917-January 17, 1934
In her 70th year she was preparing a new last will. She had benefit from the dry-goods business that her late husband had left her, managed by her son, William Holland for which "I give him thanks and due credit." To daughter Mrs. Edith Bond and son John W. Holland her residential lot, jointly; cottage next door to her residence to son William Holland, hoping he would improve it and leave it to his son Billie. $5000 to daughter Mrs. Caroline Pullen. Her dry-goods business to be divided among her four children and her personalty as well. When Willie /William/ Holland took over the business for her she gave him $2000 and stock as gift. When John moved to Florida she gave him $1000 and loaned him $2000. Her daugh­ter and children had been supported in her home since her daughter's widowhood began and had made gifts to Caroline Pullen too.
Codicil dated July 9, 1917. Her stock in other businesses and money due her by brother, B. O. Sullivan she divided among her grandchildren, Elizabeth Bond, Harriet Pullen and Harriet Holland. Sons William and John Holland executors. Witnesses: C. F. Morgan and wife.
Mrs. Harriet Holland died June 24, 1933.
