UPTONVILLE CEMETERY

            Uptonville Cemetery is located on Steam Mill Ferry Road in the Uptonville community, about 12 miles south of Jackson. David Donahue recorded this cemetery April 30, 2004. The cemetery was recorded circa 1995; the recorder is not identified. The record appears in Cemetery Records of Madison County, Tennessee, Volume I The Southern Half of County (Mid-West Tennessee Genealogical Society, 1995, pp. 119-120. Unidentifiable

There is one grave with a broken concrete slab cover. In 2004 there was no indication of who was buried there. The person who recorded the cemetery in 1995 thought it might be a Hill.
