            Pleasant Hill Cemetery is located behind Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Mifflin Road about 7 miles southeast of Jackson. The cemetery is maintained.

Johnson note: E. M. Johns__ and A. M. Johnson are the only complete pieces of a number of small homemade Johnson markers which at one time probably lined the border of one of the Johnson family lots and identified burials there. Now most are broken and out of place. A number of fragments remain. Most have writing on both sides which makes matching fragments difficult. Within the lot is a marker for W. D.
