HARE CEMETERY

Located about 3.7 miles north of the present Lexington, Tennessee city limits via and on the west side of Natchez Trace Road. A predominantly white cemetery; only three blacks known to be buried here.

About 1859-1874

MELVINA (Colored), no last name
about 1809-1879

Mr. Marshall Easley, Lexington, Tennessee recalled to the present compiler that he remembered Mr. John Williams as a very tall man, perhaps 6'10".
