Through research and contacts, Mr. Robert D. Taylor, Jr., librarian, Tennessee Room Jackson-Madison County Library has discovered that George Washington Buckley (c1857-1942) was the father of several of the Buckleys mentioned above. He is buried at KcHaney Cemetery without tombstone. An older George Buckley died, at age 80 years, 5 mos., 13 days. Feb. 7, 1916, according to his death certificate and he is also buried in an unmarked grave at McHaney Cemetery.

Those names and dates listed in the first volume of the HENDERSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS (1976) that the present compiler could not find in this cemetery, all but one of which were probably funeral home markers:

TROY LEE MOFFITT, PVT US Army, World War II, Jan. 18, 1928-Jan. 25, 1969
