Catalogued 28 September, 1968 by Mary Ann (Mrs. L. R.) Mitchell, 72 Woodhaven Dr., Jackson, Tenn. 38301; Nell Naylor (Mrs. Charles E.) Stuart, 325 N. Fairground, Jackson, Tenn. 38301; and Lillian Russell (Mrs. T. E.) House, 67 Harmony Lane, Jackson, Tenn. 38301. The Old Moore Cemetery, inactive since 1931, located in a wooded area, approximately 150 feet by 300 feet, one mile west of Hillville, Haywood County, Tennessee, about 100 yards off the Hillville Road. -This old cemetery has many unmarked graves and has just recently been cleared and cleaned through the efforts of the above individuals and descendants of persons buried therein.

BRITTAIN ADAMS, Born in Sessux Co. Va. June 15, 1759, Died Aug. 5, 1834, "He was a soldier of the Revolution and 50 years a respectable member of the M. E. Church. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord." (Note: Stone Broken; Foot Marker - "B.A.")

UNITY ADAMS, Born in Edgecombe Co., N. C. Aug. 5, 1761, Died March 1, 1836 (Foot Marker - "U.A."), "She was 50 years a respectable member of the M. E. Church. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord." Amis & Co. Memphis [marker merchant]

Right beside the grave of Delilah Kenny was a foot marker with the initials "R.K," There was also a broken stone and the only words readable were "member of the Church for years." (We believe that this was probably the grave of ROBERT KENNY.)
