YELLOW SPRINGS CEMETERY
This well-maintained church cemetery is located in northwestern Decatur County at the intersection of Yellow Springs Road and Pugh Road. It is indicated on the U.S.G.S. Sugar Tree quadrangle (1986) near its western edge, just south of I-40. David Donahue recorded this cemetery May 5, 1997 and checked and updated it February 17, 2002.
Margarett Alexander and Blanche Tuten recorded this cemetery on April 2, 1978. Their record appears in Decatur County, Tennessee Cemetery Records published by the Captain Daniel A. Wesson Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Parsons, Tennessee, 1984, pp. 618-625. They noted "at least 8 unmarked graves." This is referred to as the UDC transcription in notes below.
