JONATHAN WEBSTER born Spotsylvania Co., Va., Mar. 19, 1779; died Copper [Coffee] Co., Tenn., Nov. 6, 1842 [The Nashville WHIG, Dec. 8, 1842 states that he died December 5, 1842]; served in both houses of the Tennessee legislature. [He served in the House of Representatives, 1813-181l; in the state Senate, 1823-1825; 1829-1831; 1835-183l.]
JOHN UNCAS, last male of the royal line of the Mohegan Indians, died at Mohegan, Connecticut December 19, 1842 aged 89 years.

ALDERSON born Richmond, Va., Jan. 1, 1793; moved with parents to Baltimore, Maryland; with several young men he embarked for France, about 1812 and was captured by the British, taken to England where he lived about five years; returned to America, to Tenn., to Alabama, and finally to Maury Co., Tenn. where he died Jan. 10, 1843.
