JACOB MATHIAS, resident of Westminster, Md., killed in June 1857 at Hanover Junction of the Northern Central Railroad, in trying to catch the train, he fell, his legs being severed by the wheels and his skull being fractured; died soon after sustaining these mortal injuries.
