I'm trying to locate John ADAMS & wife Ailsey. John ADAMS was born1802 VA, he was in TN by 1832, as my ancestor, their first son, wasborn 1832 TN as well as 3 other children, they left TN in the 1840sfor KY, then to Southern IL by the 1850 Saline Co.,IL census, andthen White Co.,IL Philipstown area for 1860, tho' John was dead bythen. There were several names that I'm hoping will connect withanother ADAMS family, Stephen-Anderson-Alexander-Letty-Susannah-these were a few of the children that might have recurring names inthe Adams family.Family lore says John 1802 VA left his parentsfamily to trade with the Indians for several years, when he returnedthey had moved, and he never again found them. Please if any of thesepeople make you think of an ADAMS family that they might be from, please e-mail me. Thanks so much
