I am looking for the Armstrong's. I don't know which county in theywere from. My father told me that the court house in that countyburnt in the late 1800's, destroying all records. My greatgrandfather, Issac L Armstrong could have been born in this county. He married Sally..., I am not sure if he married in Tenn. or after heleft. My family has been trying to find names of G'grandmother Delitha AnnHiggins parents for over fifty years. Information is that she andparents were all born in Tn. She was born 1871/73 She was Indian.Story is that she was abandoned on Indian Reservation and taken tolive with family of preacher named Higgins??
