I am looking for information about TURNER McCLANAHAN Who was marriedto MATILDA MEADOWS born in SC ca 1830 died ca 1878 in Smith County,TN. Turner and Matilda were listed as parents of the followingchildren on her father's will dated April 22, 1879. MARY B.McCLANAHAN-ARLEY, SARAH McCLANAHAN-GILL, WYLLIS McCLANAHAN, THOMASMcCLANAHAN, MARTHA McCLANAHAN, BERTZ McCLANAHAN-NORMAN(VORMAN), JOHNT. McCLANAHAN. Two of these children were minors when their motherMatilda died. It is likely that Turner remarried. My goal is tofind the birth county of my great grandparents who were Matilda'sparents. Matilda was born in SC as were her parents. Hopefully, Iwill get a clue, if I can discover Matilda's death record, or herwill or her burial place. Thank you for any information.
