I would like to find my
paternal ancestors who, I believe, came fromTennessee. My great
grandfather was John Hunter Birdwell and wasapparently born in about
1843 - 45 in Tennessee. he had a son,William Arthur Birdwell, after
whom I was named, who lived inOklahoma in about 1906 - 10.

I have 5 brothers and sisters my mother gave
up for adoption prior tomy birth in 1959. I beleive the kids name
could posibly be FARMER.Moms maiden name was SCHNEIDER. My birth
certificate is the only infoI have on my father who is listed as Leo
Huffer. Supposedly Deceasedin 1959.

After searching for 25
years for RICHARD CROSS in VA I find out hewas born in Tenn. He was
born 4 Feb. 1772, married Mary Lake dau ofWm. & Molly Asbery Lake 5
Nov. 1796 in Fauquier Co. Va. He was inHarrison Co. VA (WV) by 1803.
He may have had a brother, Joseph whomarried Mary Yates. Who were his

Looking for any info. on
Elden REDDICK. The 1880 Panola Co. Texascensus shows that he was a
20 yr old mulatto whose father was born inTN although family stories
say he was a white man. It also shows hisbirthplace as TX but it
could possibly be TN. He married Willie AnnSmith who is believed to
have been black and part native american. They are buried in Panola
Co. TX. I will be glad to provide asadditional information as
possible. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am tryint to locate
information on Isaac Franklin "Ike" Webb whowas born in TN in 1869.
His family moved to Arkansas or Texas andlater to Oklahoma. Ike died
in Roff, OK in 1928. He had five sons Otho, Jesse Lee, Otis, John and

information about the parents of Valentine PONDER,b. 1782-3 in
Caswell County, North Carolina. He died in 1867-69 inRoane Co.,
Tenn. He was a Justice of the Peace for Roane Co., andresigned on
January 4, 1847 I hope to find this in marriage records. Valentine
married 3 times.1st to Margaret Spence, don't know when. before
1807. Eithermarried in North Carolina or South Carolina.Moved to
Roane Co., Tenn between 1811 and 1818.Valentine married Violet
