My great grandfather, William H. SOUTHARD, married Mary Louise WATTS,in Kentucky or Virginia. She was from Rosine, Ky, and had her familyand died in Lee County, Virginia. I am looking for information about my Cherokee ancestor. He was saidto have been from Tennessee, forced to march on Trail of Tears,escaped and made his way up river, to what is now Sistersville, WVA. He was taken in by a family, the "Johns" and married one of theirdaughters(Jane Johns) and took her last name, he was called JohnJohns. Don't know much information on these individuals, not sure that theyare in fact from TN. Just going on information provided by others. Have birth dates for C.F. I am searching for the family history of Razy HOLLY, by my bestestimate he should have been born circa 1810-1820. I am not surewhere he was born. I have information that This Razy HOLLY married aNancy. I have only heard to date that they had two daughters, theremay be other children, one girl was Rhoda HOLLY, she was born in TNin 1821. Rhoda HOLLY married Joseph WRIGHT probably in FayetteCounty, AL about 1840. The other daughter that I know of was Nancy L.HOLLY, she also was born in TN, date unknown to me. Nancy L. HOLLYmarried Richard Razy POE, probably in Fayette County, AL about 1840.I know that Joseph WRIGHT and his wife Rhoda HOLLY WRIGHT left withtheir children from Fayette County, AL in 1852 and migrated to HarrisCounty, TX. By 1872 Joseph and Rhoda's children ended up inColdspring, TX (San Jacinto County).
