BRADFORD

Trying to identify a William BRADFORD, who resided in White Cty, TN,from early childhood (probably born between 1765 and 1770, possiblyin VA), but was definitely in TN at time of property indenture onOct. 3, 1849, registered in White County, TN, Book Q, P184;whichstated therein that William Bradford was now deceased, and went on tolist all 11 children, his heirs. The children, born between 1797 and1823, were David, Richard, John A., Nancy, Mary (Polly), Thomas,Margaret, William King, Jacob, Daniel, and James Bennett (with Davidas eldest and Bennett the youngest). At this time we do not have thename of William's wife, as she was not mentioned in the landindenture. I am a descendant of Jacob Bradford, who along withbrother Daniel, came to MO in 1842 and stayed here. Our family hasbeen told his father's name was possibly John Bradford, and that theline descended from Gov. William Bradford, from the Mayflower. Thank you for any assistance or information.
