SIMMONS AND CLARK

Am looking for information on John SIMMONS (born about 1782) and hiswife Phoebe CLARK (born about 1787). Children Andrew Jackson "Jack"Simmons born 1815 & died 1871; William Pressley Simmons; IshamSimmons born about 1805 and died November 1852). EBEN PERKINS (CA. 1792)

EBEN PERKINS married PATSEY WHITE in Williamson Co TN on 15 June1812. We know that he was born about 1792 but have been unable tolearn anything about his parents or any siblings he may have had. Hemust have been somewhere for nearly 20 years before he got married. Are there any school records, or church records, or tax list, ormilitary records, or census records available during this time? Weknow that EBEN PERKINS and PATSEY WHITE PERKINS with some of theirchildren and spouses and grandchildren moved in 1837 to KY. EBENPERKINS died in Graves Co KY about 1850 and son WRIGHT PERKINS diedin 25 May 1848 and son Jacob "Uncle Jake" PERKINS died 12 Dec1910...both in Graves Co KY.There are several of us looking for this information. Any help inlocating this information would be greatly appreciated.

I looking for more information regarding Joseph Tompkins ofTennessee. My dad has been able to trace our family ties back to him,but we have been unsuccessful to trace them back any further. Thismuch I do know: According to records my dad obtained from Tennessee:Joseph Tompkins died in the Town of Livingeston, TN. on 2-21-1834. Wealso found data stating that a man by the name of Joseph Tompkins wasborn in North Carolina in 1769.
