I am looking for a Samuel PIERSON/PEARSON, Sr. He was supposed tohave lived in Robertson County, Tennessee from about 1790 until about1815. He had two sons who were born there, SamuelPIERSON/PEARSON,Jr.(1797) & Richmond PIERSON/PEARSON(1804). I havebeen told that Samuel Sr. was from North Carolina, and that SamuelJr. married a Sarah____, from Kentucky. Richmond married AladeDelphia PHELPS. One of his wives was Karenhappuck [Cary] TUBB.I've had little or no luck in finding the names of their childrenother than Dr. Johnathan Tubb Nolin, son of Philip NOLIN [NOLEN]. Capt. Thomas HAMILTON lived in Mansker's Station Goodlettsville TN. and in 1789 walked over land to the White House TN. area to build hisown station which was called HAMILTON's STATION. Thomas was marriedto Jane MCCRACKEN but Jane may have died 1779 in Guilford Co NC before the removal of this family to Middle Tennessee. Looking for any information regarding John D HUFFMAN in what becameRobertson County, Springfield. Was born about c.1827 in RobertsonCounty. Married Mary Ann RAWLS, daughter of James Rawls and MaryParker of same county. The RAWLS family have been noted to have beenin this county since 1796 as is well documented. HUFFMAN,RAWLS

Looking for any information regarding John D HUFFMAN in what becameRobertson County, Springfield. Was born about c.1827 in RobertsonCounty. Married Mary Ann RAWLS, daughter of James Rawls and MaryParker of same county. The RAWLS family have been noted to have beenin this county since 1796 as is well documented. I have notedproperty owned by Nashville HUFFMAN's as early as 1816 on tax recordsin Robertson. I am wondering if you can find any info on this branchof the HUFFMAN family. I have John D's death in 1879. Prior to 1850census I am having difficulty tracking him and his lineage. I havesome info that George HUFFMAN and Phebe MUNGLE were his parents, bothfrom Davidson County. Any assistance you can give me would behelpful. There are so many HUFFMAN's in this area and very early on,am having difficulty differentiating them. Would also appreciate anyinfo regarding where this branch of the RAWLS came from. Thanks.
