The three youngestchildren were born in Guntown, MS but the older

Hightower was born c. 1802, the eldest son of William and

What information do you have of the query names
TURLEY, CHANDLER,WAGNER, and REAGON family trees. Suggested countys
Hamblen,Grainger,Sevier, and Cherokee Nation. ie. Family tell of
Great GrandFather Reagon was said to have walked out of the mountains
and neverwanted to go back, settled in Witt Communty and died there.
GrandFather Chandler born in western North Carolina, said to have
walkedto Hamblen County with family died in Morristown, Grand mother
stillalive in Morristown. Turley's hail from Granger County, lived
inMaryland and Sevier County. Grand Father died there, Grand

According to 1850 through 1880 censuses, my Isaac
WHITE was born ca1790 in Tennessee. We do not know where. By 1811, he
was in PulaskiCounty KY where he married Anne REED, b. ca 1795 NC. He
may be son ofGeorge of Giles County TN but we have no good reason to
think so.Just the availability. Would appreciate any suggestions for

I am looking for my direct ancestors who
were in Tennessee in the1780s and 1790s (possibly even the 1770s). If
you recognize thesurnames GRIZZEL, RIDDLE or INGRAM please contact
me. I would love totrade information. I know that Harriett "Happy"
RIDDLE came to whatis now Tennessee in 1783 or 1784 and married
William "Bill" INGRAMwho had been in Tennessee for 15 years prior.
Harriett died soonafter in 1784.William GRIZZEL was in the American
Revolution and signed up fromwestern North Carolina and was later
noted to be in Tennessee. Hisdaughter Anna GRIZZEL married Isaac
RIDDLE in either Russell orHawkins County, Tennessee 21 May 1801 (I
would like to confirm whichcounty). Anna GRIZZEL was born in Wilkes
County, North Carolina 18July 1784. Was that part of what is now
Tennessee?Does anyone know anything about the organization, The First
Familiesof Tennessee?I also have REEDs in Tennessee in the early
1800s and they might havebeen there in the 1700s.

Looking for the parents
of James C. STRODE born about 1790 in KY orTN. By 1823 he is given
a land grant in Jackson County, TN. Hemarries Martha DRAPER,
daughter of Travis Draper and Margaret White. There are several land
grants in 1790's to STRODES in the KY and TNregions, but I have been
